AfterEffect | PROVE| Albert Einstein Kinetic Typography

A tiny experiment from 2017: my first try at kinetic typography in After Effects, bringing a quote by Albert Einstein to life in 26 seconds.

Words in motion

Kinetic typography is the art of animating text so that the words themselves move, scale and pop on screen in time with their meaning. It's everywhere in titles, music videos and adverts, and I wanted to see if I could pull it off myself. So I picked a sentence by the great Albert Einstein and started playing with it in Adobe After Effects.

This clip is just that: a simple test, a short practice piece rather than a finished production. Back then I was learning motion graphics step by step, and little exercises like this were how I got comfortable with keyframes and timing.

Why small tests matter

I still believe in this approach. When you want to learn a new technique, don't wait for a big project. Pick a short phrase, give yourself an evening and finish something. Even 26 seconds teaches you a lot.
