I woke up one morning in 2026 and the screen of my DJI Osmo Pocket 3, my go-to camera, had completely failed. Here's how DJI support handled it, and why I didn't need to use DJI Care.
The display fail
The Osmo Pocket 3 had become the camera I use for most of my work, so a glitching, dead screen was a nightmare. I have DJI Care Refresh, so my first thought was to use it to get a replacement.
Warranty first
Then I realised that the standard warranty already covered the problem. I contacted DJI through their website, and they came back with a shipping label and told me to send the camera to them at no cost. I handed the package to the courier and it shipped without problems. At the time of filming I was waiting to hear when the repair would be done.
So far, the experience with DJI was great. In the meantime I was shooting on my DJI Osmo Action 4, which is a great camera too.
